Research Monographs and Policy Studies

These publications reflect the Institute's comprehensive scope of research efforts and its commitment to informing the public of important, and in some instances, crucial national issues.

The Monographs are in-depth technical analyses of particularly relevant topics in the economics and social development fields. The Policy Studies are less technical in nature and focus more on policy content. The data and information contained in these publications often prove highly useful to researchers, policymakers and implementors in both the public and private sectors.

Depending on the readership the publication is anticipated to draw, these books are published in either English or Thai.

All monographs and policy studies are refereed, mostly by eminent Thai scholars. The Harvard Institute for International Development (HIID) assists in identifying referees for works published in English.
