| All TDRI Staff are employed on a contractual basis, and, for planning purposes, are classified into two categories: core staff and project staff. Each of these, in turn, is classified into research and research-support staff, information and publications staff and central staff. A core staffer is defined as a staff member who is contracted for two years on a full-time basis. A project staffer, on the other hand, is a staff member who is contracted for less than two years and can be either on a full-time or part-time basis.
